This is a term used in our Fang Shen Do training that is similar to the terms: guardian angel, internal dragon, personal tiger or animal within.

Philosophically speaking, the more you train, the more you feed your internal monster, in short, your ability to defend yourself and to act if you are ever threatened.

Survival is our most primitive instinct, tapping into your primitive self guarantees you’ll make the right decisions if you or someone you love is in danger.
